About The Event
In this intimate weekend retreat we will explore the Paramitas, known as the virtues of the Bodhisattva, an enlightened and compassionate being. Together we will examine how the virtues of generosity, patience, energy, and wisdom can more profoundly exist in our day-to-day experience, and support us in addressing suffering both in ourselves and this world.
Deep listening, oral teachings, meditation, and relational exercises will be woven throughout to help us deconstruct false narratives of a separate self and surface what it means to live an authentic life of values, interconnection and true belonging. This retreat is open to people who identify with any faith background or no faith background. We will explore the Paramitas through a Buddhist lens and framework to deepen how these virtuous qualities relate to, and expand, who we truly are.
This workshop will be led by Jisan Tova Green and Reverend Mary Myoku Remington.
